Curfew Declared In Ishieke Ebonyi State University
The recent cult fracas in the Ishieke campus of Ebonyi State University has cost the campus community great deal as both the Staff, Students, Business and even the aboriginal dwellers of the four campuses of the state University now live in fear of falling victim of either the men on street or the merciless officers of the Nigerian police force ( #SARS_AK ).
The confraternity effect of the two most dreaded cult groups within Ishieke-campus who have been on a supremacy battle for days now has greatly disturbed and jeopardize the peace of the campus and the resultant effect is both academic and economic this is true because to a very high extent students and lecturers have boycotted lectures and business centers close.
Among the affected sector is the Ebsu service as drivers hardly see students on transit.
Pictures taken by our field correspondent Ogba_Naomi reviews the scanty nature of Ishieke both at lectures and business areas.
Curfew Effect On CAMPUS
The Students and other campus dwellers during the last three days have experienced Police Raid which has inflected great fear with the users of the four campuses of the State owned University as over 300 innocent students and other users of the campuses have been arrested over the past three days.
The Report Photos shows that the road is deserted after 6pm and anyone seen on the major roads are immediately arrested by either men of the SARS or AK units of the State Command.
Students therefore are advised to stay indoors after 6pm and avoid public places for now to allow the process take it’s effect on the campus and ensure the return of peace.
